Arkansas Land for Sale

Arkansas is one of the premier hunting states in  the U.S. and as Wikipedia says has a, “Generally, Arkansas has hot, humid summers and slightly drier, mild to cool winters. In Little Rock, the daily high temperatures average around 93 °F (34 °C) with lows around 73 °F (23 °C) in July. In January highs average around 51 °F (11 °C) and lows around 32 °F” Arkansas is generally split into two regions, the highlands in the northwest half and the lowlands of the southeastern region. The Southern Interior Highlands, including The Ozarks and the Ouachita Mountains are a part of the highlands. The southern lowlands include the Gulf Coastal Plain and what is known as the Arkansas Delta. “The state's agriculture outputs are poultry and eggs, soybeans, sorghum, cattle, cotton, rice, hogs, and milk.” According to Zillow, “The median home value in Arkansas is $130,907. Arkansas home values have gone up 3.8% over the past year,” which, according to Business Insider, is below the national average of $226,800. Smart Asset says, “Property taxes in Arkansas are generally lower than in most other states. In fact, in 68 of the state’s 75 counties, the typical annual property tax payment is lower than $800. The statewide average effective property tax rate is just 0.63%, tenth lowest in the U.S.” Best Places gives Arkansas a solid rating of 79 for its cost of living ratio when compared with the national average of 100 making it a less expensive place to own land.
