Fannin, 261 Acres of Public Hunting Land for Duck, Exotics – Fannin, Texas

This land consisting of 261 – acres and the surface of this land is covered with wetlands, grassland, thick forests, and brushy uplands. The quality of this land is maintained with the help of prescribed burning of extra brushes, crop cultivation, and grazing. Animals that can be hunt on this land are Waterfowl, and Wading birds. Weapons that can be used while hunting include Shotguns, Archery, and Rifles. Moreover, hunters are allowed to camp on this land and restroom facility is also available. Additionally, people with disabilities can also hunt on this land in their designated area. There are two boat ramps in this park which also help in fishing. Lastly, a specific area is available for the new hunters where they can practice shooting.
