Bibb, 3,690 Acres of Public Hunting Land for Turkey, Exotics – Bibb, Alabama

The Cahaba River is Alabama’s longest free-flowing river and stretches over 200 miles. The river currently supports 64 rare and imperiled plant and animal species, 13 of which are found nowhere else in the world. The refuge is home to five federally listed species including the Cahaba shiner, goldline darter, round rocksnail, and cylindrical lioplax snail. Hunting opportunities on the refuge include deer, bobcat, coyote, and turkey. Quail hunting is allowed, however it is limited due to the scarcity of habitat. Dogs are allowed for the hunting of quail and small game.
