Located along the northeast coast of Massachusetts in an area of dense and expanding human development, Parker River National Wildlife Refuge has special significance and value to migratory birds, other wildlife, and people. The refuge is divided into hunting units. Hunting units A, B, C, and D are archery only for hunting big game, small game, and furbearers. Hunting dogs are permitted only when assisting with waterfowl hunting and retrieval. Trapping and baiting are never allowed at the refuge. This property offers hunting opportunities for bobcat, coyote, fox, rabbit, gray squirrel, crow, pheasant, wild turkey, quail, and many more.
