About Us
This hunt club is in Texas. CHC consists of 18,106 acres in Polk and Tyler counties. The land has gentle rolling hills, flowing creeks, hardwood bottoms, a 54 acre lake and various aged pine forests. Pipelines crisscross the property which gives ample opportunity for food plots.
The lake offers good fishing and duck hunting. As over most of East Texas, hog hunting is good. They have 2 main camping areas available with electrical service available through Entergy. See membership page for 911 address. The club was formed in 1957. CHC is a family oriented club where your membership includes your spouse and children. CHC subscribes to the principles of Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA) which recommends adding supplemental protein, passing up younger bucks in order to improve buck age structure and harvesting adequate number of anterless deer.
