About Us
The Cottrell Ranch, located in beautiful Northern California, covers 14,000 acres of privately owned timber and grazing land for deer hunting. Oak woodlands and Willow tree ditches are abundant on the ranch and are full of Blacktail Deer. The ranch has been family owned and operated since the 1865. Today 5th generation family members operate and reside on the ranch.
Cottrell focus on herd management by carefully selecting which Deer to harvest. Their goal is to allow the better Bucks to grow to their full potential before harvesting them.
In addition to being a working cattle ranch, they offer unique hunting opportunities for blacktail deer and elk. Cottrell are committed to sound game management practices while striving to provide a high quality hunting experience for clients.
