Hunters may also have opportunities to take wolf or black bear as secondary game species. DS operate on two federal exclusive concessions within the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and the Yukon Flats National Wildlife Refuge.
Double Shovel Outfitters also provides guided Arctic Raft Trips on the Porcupine, Coleen, and Sheenjek rivers. These custom float trips allow visitors to explore some of Alaska’s most spectacular wilderness. For experienced river travelers who wish to explore other arctic rivers, they offer river trip outfitting, raft rentals, and shuttle services.
