About Us
Gander Outfitter offers approximately 11,000 acres of land spanning various farms in Southern Knox County, Northern Shelby County, and Macon County, Missouri. Their hunts are semi-guided, providing stands and plots for hunters to utilize. While Gander Outfitter ensures hunters are directed to their designated locations, guests have the freedom to drive their own vehicles to the farm and come and go at their convenience, going directly to their stand without any unnecessary wandering. It is important to note that ATV's are not permitted on any of the properties, except for deer recovery purposes. Gander Outfitter supplies the necessary ATV's for this purpose.
Hunters at Gander Outfitter will be walking in from the roads of each farm and will primarily hunt from lock-ons with ladder sticks, as well as ladder stands and box blinds for rifle hunting (all stands are 15-20 feet high). To prepare for the hunt, hunters are advised to bring rubber boots, a flashlight, a pull-up rope, and a safety harness.
