Morning hunts take place in the marshes of Cameron Parish, accommodating 2 hunters plus the guide in clean, sunken fiberglass blinds spread across 15,000 acres - one blind per 1,000 acres.
Common bird species include gadwall, wigeon, pintail, and teal among puddle-duck and divers. Snow geese, blue geese, and whitefront geese (known as speckled bellies) are the most frequently encountered geese during hunts.
