Located in the southwestern part of Georgia along the Chattahoochee River, Pine Ridge Hunting Plantation gives you the ultimate Georgia hunting experience! The lodge and hunting properties are privately owned and operated, offering a quiet family atmosphere. Pine Ridge have 5000 acres of planted pines, hardwood bottoms, and farmland, all of which is hunted by their clients only. They have lived here all their lives and have farmed the land themselves, so have an intimate knowledge of the land and wildlife habits. Pine Ridge take great pride in management practices that include selective harvesting and prescribed burning. In order to give the wildlife the nourishment they need to become healthy animals that you can enjoy for a lifetime, they plant large food plots in addition to our normal agriculture practices. These plots are planted with the same care that is put into their other crops.
Georgia is known for big whitetail bucks and large eastern turkeys. Due to DNR regulations, Georgia has bigger bodied deer with larger antlers than any of the surrounding states. Part of the reason for this is that Georgia has taken a leadership role in the deep south by using increased doe harvesting to manage for quality deer populations.
