Pope Plantation

Pope Plantation has been in the family for five generations. Farming along with harvesting pecans and timber have long been the focal point of the property. In 2007 the family decided to turntheir beautiful mix of loblolly pines, hardwoods and vast fields into a top notch hunting preserve. While Pope Plantation was established in 2007, they have been quality deer managed since the mid 80's. Pope have hosted guest from all over the world. Pope Plantation is located in Washington, Georgia which is between Athens and Augusta, Georgia and only an hour and a half from Atlanta. Washington-Wilkes Airport is only 10 minutes from our lodge for customers with private planes. They can handle transportation to and from Washington-Wilkes Airport.
