About Us
Situated on Maryland's Eastern Shore, Talbot County Outfitters stands out as a premier destination for hunters seeking an authentic fair chase hunt. Whether their interests lie in whitetail or sika deer, Canadian geese, sea ducks, or turkey hunting, Talbot County Outfitters is dedicated to guiding them in the right direction. The mission at Talbot County Outfitters is to ensure that every hunter has the opportunity to create lasting memories during their hunting experience. While a successful harvest is meaningful, Talbot County Outfitters believes that true success is measured by the lasting impact and memories made during the hunt.
As a small outfitter owned and operated by avid hunters, the team's passion for the outdoors shines through in everything they do. They are committed to helping hunters appreciate the sport for more than just the harvest, focusing on providing a holistic hunting experience. From the early morning discussions around their trucks to the quiet moments as the lodge lights dim at the end of a fulfilling day, the team at Talbot County Outfitters prioritizes their hunters' experiences above all else, ensuring that each hunt is unforgettable.
With a collective 60 years of experience in the hunting industry, the team at Talbot County Outfitters possesses the knowledge and expertise needed for success. Whether it's meticulously scouting with binoculars, checking trail cameras, or strategically moving stands to gain an advantage, they are always one step ahead in ensuring the hunting success of their clients.
The lands at Talbot County Outfitters, spanning privately leased properties, are meticulously managed to support healthy deer populations year after year. Over half of these properties have been under their care for over two decades, reflecting their commitment to sustainable deer management practices. Each parcel of land offers diverse landscapes, including hardwoods, open timber, fields, pine thickets, riverbanks, and tidal marshes. Every property is carefully selected based on the quality of deer it supports, rather than simply focusing on acreage.
