Deer Hunting led the Wyman family to discover this remarkable expanse of land in Mecosta County. In 2011, Paul, accompanied by his family, explored the site and was inspired to establish a private hunting ranch in Michigan. He envisioned a place where loved ones could partake in the joy of hunting, much like he had experienced with those closest to him.
With 420 acres of pristine hunting grounds located 70 miles north-east of Grand Rapids, The Refuge Ranch is a sight to behold. Managed by the Wyman family, the ranch is a labor of love for Paul's son, Caleb, who oversees a team dedicated to the maintenance and care of the land and its inhabitants. During the summer months, Caleb's brother, Elijah, also lends a hand in the daily operations of the ranch. Filled with 200-inch plus bucks and trout streams, Refuge Ranch will induce you with amazement and wonder throughout your Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunting Trip. The Refuge Ranch has a 7,000-square-foot Hunting Lodge with six private bedrooms and 4.5 semi-private bathrooms full of comfortable amenities; including free Wi-Fi.
