Situated in the heart of the southernmost portion of Southeast Missouri, the hunting property borders Big Lake National Wildlife Refuge, one of the oldest refuges in the nation. Big Lake serves as a habitat for hundreds of thousands of ducks throughout the hunting season. In addition to its proximity to Big Lake, the property is surrounded by several major refuges along the Mississippi Flyway, providing a prime location to witness the daily migratory patterns of thousands of waterfowl. The flooded timber on the property has quickly gained popularity, particularly among guided hunt guests who can anticipate an exceptional hunting experience in some of the finest flooded timber in the southeast.

The timber duck hunts are conducted in bottomland hardwoods that are seasonally flooded, as well as in buckbrush and scrub swamps. Being located in one of the nation's largest flyways ensures that the property consistently attracts a high concentration of ducks to its hunting grounds.
