Woodstock Plantation and Woodstock Hunting Club hold significant meaning for a multitude of individuals. Over the span of 38 years, Woodstock has transformed dreams into reality, creating enduring memories for countless hunters and their loved ones. The timeless slogan, "Have I told you my story?" remains as poignant today as when it was first uttered by an enthusiastic deer hunter four decades ago.
Since 1980, Woodstock has been at the forefront of quality deer management in southwest Mississippi. Nestled in the rolling hills just east of the Mississippi River and Tunica Hills, Woodstock is situated in an area characterized by loess soils that stretch from the Louisiana border to Vicksburg. These soils are renowned for producing some of the finest bucks in Mississippi. Woodstock, along with neighboring lands, has participated in a state-assisted quality deer management program since 1980. Wildlife biologists have been enlisted for consultation to aid in habitat management and harvest. With an impressive annual harvest of 50 to 75 rack bucks for the past 35 years, Woodstock is dedicated to maintaining a thriving deer population.
The success of Woodstock can be attributed to the combination of fertile soils, well-managed habitat, and strong community support. For four decades, the Johnson family has been offering delightful and profitable deer hunting experiences.
