  • What are your different membership options?

    We have a free and paid membership. Only paid members have access to contact our lease owners and outfitters.
     

  • How does a paid membership work?

    It's a monthly or an annual subscription which you allows you full access to the site where you'll be able to directly contact lease owners and outfitters. You also get first access to new hunts. There is no contract and you can cancel the subscription at any time.
     

  • Which states do you have posted leases in?

    Currently, we have hunts in 20 different states. Please take a look at our States Overview page.
     

  • It keeps telling me my username and password aren't working, and I can't log in.

    If you’re using our website on a mobile device, then try logging in again on a desktop or laptop. The best browsers to use for our site are Google Chrome and Firefox.

    If you’ve taken these steps and it still isn’t working, then try resetting your password and logging in.
     

  • How do I reset my password?

    If you'd like to change your password to something else, then log into your account and change your password by clicking "Update" on the account information page

    If you forgot your password (it happens to the best of us) then just shoot us an email at [email protected] and we can reset it for you!
     

  • I've found a lease. How do I cancel my account?

    That's awesome! If you want to cancel your account, then simply click on "Your Username Account" in the top right. From there, click "Edit your premium membership" and you can cancel your subscription there.
     

  • How come I can't see the information on a lease?

    Every member on Hunting Locator can view a lease, but only paid, premium members can view the contact information for a lease. If you would like to see the contact info, then upgrade to our premium membership.
     

  • How do I post my lease?

    Posting your lease or hunt is completely free. The only requirement is you have to have a free account (If you currently don't have an account, get a free one). Go to your Account page by clicking the "Account" link in the top right. From there, click the "Create a new lease" link.
     

  • Why do I need an account?

    You only need an account to post leases or contact lease owners and outfitters. You don't need an account to browse through our hunts.
     

  • What can I access without paying?

    You can see most of the lease information. Contact information like email address and phone number is only accessible to users with a subscription.
     

  • How up-to-date is your content?

    On an average we add about 3-5 leases a week and we regularly follow up with lease owners to ensure that the content they have posted is up-to-date.
     

  • How do I remove my listing?

    Go to your listing and you’ll see a box that says "Status." Change that status to inactive and your lease will no longer show.
