The terrain is rolling and very navigable on shanks mare.  The property is only 1.75 mile off of the Bengal/LeFlore Rd, which is a nice black top hard surface road.  Actually, it is exactly 3.5 miles straight south of LeFlore, Oklahoma. Although The Bear Den is not far off the main road, you’ll have a very secluded feel.  The little cabin is 16’x24’ and has an 8’x24’ loft upstairs that is used for storage and overflow sleeping area.  There is an efficiency bathroom with stool and a shower, complete with a sheep water tank bathtub!  The little cabin is gently nestled in a little hollow and cannot be seen by anyone until they have arrived!  Very private indeed.  No one knows it even exists. A fantastic feature about this wonderful little compound that wards off evil spirits is that you have to cross Black Bear Creek a couple times to get to it!  It’s definitely best to make your trek in a 4x4 vehicle with a little ground clearance. There are a number of small tracts in this area so you will be somewhat near other folks enjoying the fresh mountain air and the joyful revelry of being on your own acreage in the most beautiful area of the country!  Black Bear Creek is a major creek in the area and will run water nearly all year long.
