Vegetation consists of native grasses including side oats grama, and blue grama as major species. Canyons and hillsides are lined with mature pinon, juniper and oak. The Dusty Boots Ranch has two wells. Each well has declared 3-acre feet of water rights, and both produce approximately 10 gallons per minute. Access to the Dusty Boots Ranch is located off Noonday Canyon Road; a county-maintained road. Recreation Dusty Boots Ranch is located in Game Managment Unit 24. This property has an abundance of Mule Deer. Coues Deer are also present in the area. Grant County holds several of the typical and non-typical Boone and Crockett Coues Deer records per NM Game and Fish.
