The average effective tax rate in the state is 0.72%, which is well below the 1.08% national average.” The cost of living in Arizona is listed on Best Places as 102.2 which is just above the national average of 100.

Irrigation projects provide water to 15,600 farms that help generate a $17 billion economic impact.” Arizona has a climate that is arid and semi-arid, with average annual rainfall ranging from three inches in the southwest portion of the state, to around 40 inches in the White Mountains area in east central Arizona. According to USDA-NASS, the value of land per acre is $3,800 which is up .05% since 2018.
