Cotton farm in Orangeburg county SC. 996 acres with 7 acre stocked pond. Property only has 5 hunting spots, never have to worry about crowding. We put a lot of money and time into our deer. We have some of the best deer hunting in Orangeburg county. The spots are opened as of 10/26/2023. They are pro rated to $1500. Usually it is $2500 per year. Dues include all bait and stands, maintenance etc. We have 8 stands up for everyone to use. They have either food plots, corn or other bait. Farm hands put out corn every other Wednesday year round. If you want your own stand up somewhere, come scout and find where, buy stand and drop off here or prepay at a close store and the guys will pick it up, they will take heavy equipment and put it up wherever you want. You would be responsible for either paying for bait in that stand monthly or dropping it off here, my guys will still put the bait out for free oh your stand. Guests are fine within reason. Rules- NO DOGS EVER, and NO ATVS! The way property is set up ATVs aren’t needed or beneficial. Usually every season there’s only 1 day, maybe 2 tops where more than one person is hunting in the same day. Property isn’t hunted much at all. Members live between 2-6 hours away. Kill all the does you want, no bucks below 6. There’s plenty above 6. Killed a 14 point, 10 point and 8 point this year and a handful of does. We have 6 big bucks on camera daily. Prefer long term members. Once you hunt here, you’ll never want to leave. Our turkey hunting is average I would say (no one here hunts turkey) it was turkey hunted in 2021 a couple times. Duck and dove hunting is terrible, we gave up on it. Our bucks are top handful in this part of the state. Bass are absolute monsters in the pond but brim and all are very small. No fishing during season (no “fish whenever you want” access during deer season). No camper hook ups unfortunately. Would consider a camper for long weekends and such. For anyone wanting to join from out of state or further than is easy to drive to come see it first, we’ve done blind deposits in the past. You can send $250, and it saves your spot for 14 days. If you don’t show up at all in 14 days you forfeit it. If you come to the property and decide you don’t want to join for any reason you get your $250 back no questions asked.
