250 Acre Southern Illinois Deer Lease in Alexander County

We are looking for 2 more hunters to fill a 5 person Southern Illinois hunting lease for all the deer seasons just outside of Thebes, Illinois, in Alexander County.  The farm is only 12 miles from Cape Girardeau, Missouri, where you will have dozens of motels and restaurants to choose from, and a couple of campgrounds.  The lease of 250 acres has about 100 acres of soybeans, 23 acres in a set aside tree program for about 12 years now, a couple of acres of food plots, a two acre pond, a creek, and the remainder in woods.  Several 140 class bucks have been taken on the property, and we ask that bow hunters take 130” minimum bucks and gun hunters take 140” minimum bucks.  The Illinois DNR wildlife biologist says the deer are numerous in our part of Alexander County and there is a lot of sign on the lease.  You can take two bucks in Illinois, either with a bow and during one of the gun seasons, or a buck during each of the gun seasons.  $1,000 per hunter includes all of the deer seasons and the food plots.  Just email me or give me a call if you have any questions.
