Goose and Dove Hunting in Northeast Arkansas

This outfitter has over 30 areas for hunting geese, dove and teal consisting of flooded rice, bean and corn fields, sloughs, and ponds. Most farmers drain their fields and timber as soon as possible but this property leaves the water on the fields after the season closes. This helps the ducks and geese to imprint the area and come back to this farm year after year. Hunters average 4 ducks per day over the past eight years. During the month of September there is a buffet of hunts! For just three days you can hunt not only the beautiful Mourning Dove but also the Eurasian Collared Dove. There is also a 15-day early Canadian Goose season that begins as well. These big Canadians visit the ponds and give you a chance to bag some large waterfowl. Finally, you get the chance to hunt the elusive blue-winged teal. All hunts are guided and include lodging, accommodations, meals and transportation in and out of the fields.
