under $1000
This Landowner has 7 different ranches but together it amounts to over 7000 acres of whitetail and some turkey areas. It is broken up into about 7 different farms. You won’t hunt the full 7000 of course instead you will have a farm to yourself as a lease or a 4 day rifle and a 5 day archery and Muzzleloader Hunt. Lodging is available in the area, but it goes fast durring the rifle season so the quicker you book the more lodging options you will have to call and book. The hunt for rifle is discounted down to only $1595, There is even a second either sex license so to shoot a second buck it is only $800. The second license is free, your main buck license is only $225. This can be a lease or a “day Hunt”, but you must do a 4 or 5 days hunt alone so that you can see the properties and hunt 1. Also in all fairness he must meet you before you ever lease from him. This makes a great match, which is the goal. Each farm has a food source of Corn or Alfalfa, Cover of woodlots, creeks, ditches, windrows or such, and a local water source, so the deer grow big, and they grow fast. When after his approval the lease price per hunter is about the same as the 4 day hunt. Your lease will be priced per person to hunt, and you can select which seasons you want to hunt. The only restriction is that each person only shoots 1 deer, under his name. The second buck can be added to your lease plan for the $800. A does with the free license is only $300. The second buck license from the DNR is also $225. The conservation tag is about $30 and only required for the first hunt you hunt in the state durring the year. The deer population is so high that the DNR make it exceptionally easy to get a license, from the internet. Again the earlier you get it the better. Past success has been high with almost everyone tagging out, except of course archers, they put the handicap on themselves using short range weapons. This is a steal for a good whitetail hunt, or lease. Prices will increase in the future do to property costs. Get in and hunt it now so that you can take advantage of these prices and hunt the best private land by yourself with your buddies. If you have your own lease, you can have a group with archers, Muzzleloader and rifle hunters hunting together. Lease are to build you bucks bigger by managing it the way you feel is best to meet that goal. On a lease you are the only ones hunting it for the full season. His leases farms are in 3 separate counties, with the counties touching each other. You must hunt the peak of the run for that to be legal, which is the rifle season from the 2nd Saturday in November usually about 11/12 most years, to 11/21 is the total rifle season. Seasons in Nebraska are Rifle above, Archery 9/1-12/31, Muzzleloader is 12/1-12/31.
