It is primarily wooded but borders agricultural land. Within the property there are meadows of tall grass, newly seeded forbs, and stands of oak and aspen and other soft and hard mast producing vegetation; plenty of wildlife food and shelter. There is a creek and internal woodland pools. We are engaged in the PA Forest Stewardship Program and certified by the American Tree Farm System and one component of the management plan is game habitat. We strive to improve the timber and wildlife, sustainably. Current estimate of buck to doe ratio around 1:2. The property boundaries are well marked with signs and painted trees and we are very active and successful in enforcing No Trespassing. There are no buildings on the property.
