We have 82 privately owned acres in Hocking County at the end of a dead-end road. Hunt on private ground, in the heart of Ohio’s premier deer hunting counties, a stone’s throw from Wayne National Forest. Property is mostly hardwoods with some meadows and ravines with streams (weather dependent). About 60 minutes south of Columbus, OH, much of the land in the region is forested. Lots of sign of deer and sightings of does and bucks. Only 3 hunts are scheduled for deer season and we have one hunt left for 2024. It’s your choice of a seven-day late rut archery hunt or the seven-day gun hunt. Either hunt starts in early December. We have a minimum of 2 hunters and a maximum of 4 hunters. You and your hunting party have exclusive use of the property during your hunting. No running into unknown hunters. Stay on property and walk out your door to hunt. No getting up at the crack of dawn and driving 30 minutes back and forth to your hunt location several times a day. Stay in comfort in our upscale, self contained 2 bedroom apartment. Apartment rental is in addition to the hunt. If interested, we’re happy to send your photos. You can come the day before your hunt to take in the lay of the land and set up. One permanent tree stand is up and you can bring your own portable tree stand or ground blind as there are plenty of good areas to set up. We seem remote and secluded but are close to civilization for food and necessities.
