Big Bend, 11,624 Acres of Public Hunting Land for Elk, Mule Deer, Exotics – Big Bend, Texas

The land lets the hunter hunt for small game. There are three compartments for the hunters. There are options of deer hunting along with desert bighorn sheep hunting. Hunting for elk, coyotes, and mule deer is also available at this area. The WMA covers 11,624 acres of the land. Bighorn sheep are commonly found in the Sierra Diablo in abundance. Elk are present at the location but they are very little in number. Four-wheel drive is suggested because of the rough roads and vertical inclines. Hunters are not permitted to camp in the area. Drinking water needs to be arranged by the visitors.
