Dawes County, 1,230 Acres of Public Hunting Land for Whitetail Deer, Turkey, Dove, Exotics – Dawes County, Nebraska

This hunting land is consisting of 1,230 – acres and the surface of this land is covered with wetlands, forest, and grassland. Activities that can be performed on this land are hunting, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, photography, horseback riding, and bird watching. Animals that can be hunt on Bighorn wildlife management area are Deer, Dove, Rabbit, Squirrel, and Turkey. The management of this land does not provide restroom facility for the hunters and camping is also prohibited on this land. There is a designated area for the hunters who are physically challenged. Lastly, no motor vehicles are allowed inside the hunting land.
