Northwest Arctic, 18,240 Acres of Public Hunting Land for Duck, Exotics – Northwest Arctic, Alaska

This land is consisting of 18,240 - acres and the surface of this hunting property is covered with lagoons, brackish wetlands, moist upland tundra, and thickets of alder and willow. The animals that are available for hunting on this land are Geese, Ducks, Sandhill Cranes, Short-eared owls, and Willow ptarmigan. The management of this land does not provide restroom facility for the hunters. Camping can be done on this land however a reservation must be made. Hunters are prohibited to bring alcoholic drinks and drugs on this land. Youth hunters can also hunt on this land but they must be under the supervision of an adult who possess a valid hunting license.
