The main animals for hunting at this land are antelope, black bear, blue grouse, elk, mule deer, ruffed grouse, white-tailed deer. The total area of this land is 35173 – acre and it contains developed campgrounds. Beartooth WMA is closed to all visitation from the end of the big game hunting season until May 15 each year. Camping at any time should not exceed 15 days at this site.
