Oconee, 442 Acres of Public Hunting Land for Whitetail Deer – Oconee, South Carolina

This 442 – acres hunting land is mostly covered with forests, wetlands, agricultural lands, and other brushy uplands. This land provides a great opportunity for hunters to hunt White-tailed Deer. Fishing can also be done on Stumphouse Mountain Heritage wildlife management area. Hunters are not allowed to camp on this site. Moreover, a designated area is available for car parking. Other activities that can be done on this land are hiking and wildlife viewing. Any alcoholic drink and drugs are prohibited on this land. Hunters who visit this land must have a valid hunting license. Lastly, this land can be reached by traveling right onto county road Ross Mountain Road. From there look for signs indicating Stumphouse Youth WMA.
