Barnstable, 4,800 Acres of Public Hunting Land for Duck, Exotics – Barnstable, Massachusetts

This land is consisting of 4,800 – acres and is mostly covered with scrub oak forest, ponds, oak-conifer transitional forest, wetland, and early successional shrubland. Activates that can be done on this land are hunting and fishing. Species available here for hunting are Moorhens, Coots, Ducks, Geese, Cormorants, Grebes, and Loons. Other species available are Common merganser, American black duck, Scarlet tanager, Eastern wood-pewee, and Great crested flycatcher. There is a special area for hunting for the hunters who are physically disabled. Moreover, Camping is allowed on this land and a designated area is also available for car parking. Lastly, hunters are not allowed to bring alcoholic drinks and drugs on this site.
