On the higher elevations, the main tree species are willow, Nuttall, and post oak; cedar elm; sweet gum; green ash; persimmon; and honey locust. The main tree species in the lower elevations are over cup oak, bitter pecan, cypress, and tupelo gum. The total area of this land is 51,110 – acres. Moreover, Boeuf WMA provides great hunting opportunities for hunters visiting this land. The main animals that could be hunt include white-tailed deer, waterfowl, squirrel, rabbit, and turkey. Lastly, this land also contains three primitive camping areas.
