The total area of this land is 6,990 – acres. Bird species available here for hunting are Terns, Laughing Gulls, Brown pelican, Great Egret, Deer, Snowy egret, Reddish egret, Great blue heron, Little blue heron, Tricolored heron, Double crested cormorant, and Anhinga. Surface of this hunting property is mostly covered with wetland, mountains, hardwood forest, and oak-conifer transitional forest. Moreover, hunters who to hunt on this land must possess a valid hunting license and a hunting permit. Alcoholic drinks and drugs are prohibited on this land. Additionally, hunters who are underage can also hunt on this land but under the supervision of some adult. Lastly, camping is prohibited on this site and a designated area is available for car parking.
