Covington, 7,000 Acres of Public Hunting Land for Whitetail Deer, Turkey, Quail, Duck, Predator, Exotics – Covington, Alabama

This newly created 7,000 acres WMA is located in Covington County. It provides a great opportunity for hunters to hunt deer, turkey, rabbit, squirrel, raccoon, opossum, woodcock, quail and fur-bearer and many other wild species. Boggy Hollow WMA provides the camping facility only in the designated areas. On management areas, located on U.S. Forest Service lands, camping is restricted from October 1- January 31. However, individuals or groups may camp on the management area for a period not more than 9 days in any 30-day period.
