Ballard, 8,014 Acres of Public Hunting Land for Whitetail Deer, Turkey, Duck, Exotics – Ballard, Kentucky

This hunting land is divided into four parts. One is covered with open land, second is consisting of wet land , third is covered with forest and the rest of the land is covered with open water. The total area of this land is 8,014 - acres. The species that can be hunt on Ballard wildlife management area are Squirrel, Rabbit, Quail, Turkey, Waterfowl, and Deer. Hunters visiting this land must have a valid hunting license and permit. A group of hunters must not exceed four hunters. Lastly, hunters who want to visit this land must apply online for the permits.
