The total area of this hunting tract is 2,296 - acres out of which 550 acres are of mixed hardwoods upland forest, 430 acres are of open marsh and floating sedge meadows, and 570 acres are of open grassland. Rest of the land is covered with brushy uplands and tamarack bogs. This land is situated in Dane county. The species available here for hunting include Deer, Pheasant, Waterfowl, and Turkey. Other activities that can be performed on this land are trapping, hiking, cross country skiing, wildlife viewing, and birding. Camping is prohibited at this land. Additionally, a parking lot is available for car parking. Hunters can easily reach this land by following State Highway 73 to east for two miles and then Goose Lake WMA will be visible on the north side of the road.
