Waushara, 1,860 Acres of Public Hunting Land for Turkey, Dove, Duck, Exotics – Waushara, Wisconsin

This 1,860 – acres hunting property is mostly covered with upland forest and wetlands. The hunters who visit this land can hunt Great White Heron, White-Crowned Pigeon, Magnificent Frigate bird, Rabbit, Dove, Loons, Ducks, Turkey, and Squirrel.  There is a special hunting place for the hunters who are physically challenged. There are well-furnished restrooms on this land and camping is also allowed. Fishing can also be done on this land and the fish available include Pipefish, Black Mullet, Red and Black Drum, Goby, Spotted Sea Trout, Flounder, Ladyfish, Small tooth, Mackerel, and Bluefish. Hunters must possess a valid hunting license and a permit for hunting on this land. Dogs can also be trained on this land for hunting. Other activities that can be performed in this land are hiking, picnicking, and swimming. Lastly, a designated area for car parking is also available.
