This land provides great opportunity for hunters who want to hunt: mule deer, coyotes, waterfowl, pintails, mallards, canada geese, california quail, ring-necked pheasants, gray partridge, muskrats, beaver, skunks, mink, raccoons, and cottontail rabbits. Montour WMA provide various activities for the visitors including: hunting, fishing, camping, and wildlife viewing. Bird hunting can be done at any side of this area excepting the campgrounds. Cars must be parked in the designated area only. Hunters can reach this land by following Highway 52 for 8 miles to the west and then going south to the sweet-Ola junction.
