Windsor, 80 Acres of Public Hunting Land for Whitetail Deer, Turkey, Predator, Exotics – Windsor, Vermont

This 80-acre land lies between Route 5 and Interstate 91 in the town of Weathersfield. It is predominantly forested with typical northern hardwoods – sugar and red maple, yellow birch and beech. White pine is scattered throughout the WMA. The topography of Weathersfield WMA rises steeply from Route 5 and then levels off. Species available for hunting include: white-tailed deer, red and gray fox, fisher, raccoon, coyote, red squirrel, chipmunk, and turkeys. There are no fish able waters on the WMA. Lastly, camping can be done on this area at designated locations during big game seasons.
