The Sportsman at Maddox Bay, Arkansas

The sportsman is a beautiful, 3 story cabin overlooking maddox bay and the ideal location for hunters and fishermen. We have 2 rental options: 1) the main cabin (level 2 & 3) which sleeps up to 10. Master king bedroom with master bath and two bedrooms upstairs with a shared full bathroom.

We are currently offering short and long term rentals on the lower level “man cave” for hunting clubs who want to either reserve the cabin for the entire “season” or short term rentals for those who want to hunt or fish the area for 2 or more nights.

The “man cave” has its own kitchen and full bathroom. It sleeps up to six (2 twin over twin bunks + additional air mattresses available).  It has its own entrance and a connected mudroom (access from inside the lower level or outside) for storage of gear and dog kennels. 

Maddox bay is just a few miles south of holly grove, ar and a short drive east of stuttgart. Considered a large oxbow off of the white river, maddox bay allows access into thousands of acres of the white river national wildlife refuge and is known to hold the largest population of wintering mallard ducks in the world. It is also regarded as one of the best crappie and bass fishing spots in the area.
