A type C wildlife area comprising 2,100 acres of land provides a public access for hunting and fishing. An astounding summer and winter range for deer and antelope is provided in the area. Deer and upland game are available for hunting. A four-wheel vehicle drive is recommended due to a rough road. Fitzhugh creek wildlife area gives a trout fishing opportunity along with hunting opportunity for upland game birds, birds of prey, and songbirds. The area allows foot entrance only beyond the gate entrance, no vehicles are permitted beyond the locked gate.
