Vernal, 455,000 Acres of Public Hunting Land for Elk, Mule Deer – Vernal, Utah

This land is located in Vernal County in Utah and the surface of this land is mostly consisting of forest, wetland, grassland, and timberland. The total area of this hunting property is 455,000 – acres. The animals available for hunting on this land are Mule Deer and Elk. Hiking, fishing, horseback riding, camping, boating, bicycling, wildlife viewing, and picnicking can also be done on this site.  Elevation of this land ranges from 5,500 feet to 8,500 feet. The hunters who visit this land must possess an appropriate hunting license and a permit. The hunters who are of age 16 or under can also hunt on this land but there must be some adult with them who continuously monitor them. There is a designated area on this land for camping and car parking.
