Gering, 5,700 Acres of Public Hunting Land for Elk, Mule Deer, Exotics – Gering, Nebraska

This land encompasses 5,700 acres in the wildcat hills. It is located in southwest of Gering, Nebraska. Animals that can be hunt on this land are Bighorn Sheep, Elk, and Mule Deer. The surface of this land is covered with open meadows and wooded escarpments. Hunters with disabilities can also hunt on this land in their designated area. The hunters who are underage can also hunt on this land but there must be some adult with them who possess a valid hunting license. Restrooms are not available on this land and hunters are not allowed to camp on this site. Lastly, cars need to be parked in the designated area.
