Shasta, 582 Acres of Public Hunting Land for Quail, Exotics – Shasta, California

Shasta and Tehama counties have a woodland that comprises 582 acres of land. Hunting opportunities include bobcat, coyote, river otter, beaver, california quail, and wood ducks. The management zone does provide fishing facility. The zone is open for public entry from 6 a.m. to 10.p.m. Battle creek wildlife area has a restroom facility available at the territory. Archery and firearms equipment are not allowed. Dogs are allowed but must be under direct owner control.
