The area that encompasses 11,237 acres of land is open for public hunting year-round. It is one of the largest and highly elevated woodland in the area. This wildlife management zone gives an ample chance for chasing, trapping, fishing, and cross-country skiing. The wildlife management offers white-tailed deer, songbirds, wild turkeys, and waterfowl hunting opportunities. The camping in Connecticut hill wildlife management area is allowed by permit only.
