Greene, 9,018 Acres of Public Hunting Land for Turkey, Quail, Duck, Exotics – Greene, Indiana

About 12,000 wildlife watchers visit each year this 9,018-acre property and the records about 3,500 annual hunting efforts (one hunter visits for one day). The property features a new office and visitor’s center with a panoramic observation deck, large windows to view wildlife, and restrooms. When visiting Goose Pond WMA visitors are required to sign-in at the office or at any self-service centers on the property. The animals which are available for hunting include Waterfowl, quail, rabbit, dove and deer. There are also limited opportunities for squirrel and turkey hunting. Hunting weapons that can be used while hunting include Archery and muzzle loader. Camping and swimming facilities are not available at the site.
