The 1,885 acres region is a home to various birds and animal species. Small game and large game hunting opportunities are offered at this zone. Some of the main hunting options include California quail, deer, and small game. Songbirds and waterfowl are present in abundance. Camping is allowed but overnight camping is restricted. Parking permit is needed to avail the parking facility at Irrigon Wildlife Area. Entry from 10 pm to 4 am is not allowed however, designated parking areas can be accessed at any time of the day.
