Kerr, 6,493 Acres of Public Hunting Land for Whitetail Deer, Dove, Quail, Predator, Exotics – Kerr, Texas

This wildlife zone covers an area of 6,493 acres. The US army corps of engineers provide camping area close to the location. This wildlife area has various game species for hunting that include white-tailed deer, bobwhite quail, fox,  squirrel. Bobcat, javelina, raccoon, mourning dove, skunk, armadillo, ringtail cat, cottontail, swamp rabbits, and gray fox. A few numbers of rio grande turkeys are present at the location. The Kerr wildlife management area proposes excellent fishing scope for catfish species (flathead, blue and channel).
