Contra-Costa, 67 Acres of Public Hunting Land for Duck, Exotics – Contra-Costa, California

The 67 acres island is located in Contra-Costa county. It has alder, willow, blackberry, and tules in its perimeter. The management offers fishing and hunting at the territory. Hunting options include ducks, geese, ducks, scaup, coot and moorhen. More species include nesting wood duck, cinnamon teal black crowned night heron, mallards, great blue heron, and common and snowy egrets. However, deer and beaver are also found and available for hunting. Rifles and pistols are strictly prohibited at the location. Rhode Island wildlife area can be accessed by boat only.
