St. Joseph, 2,125 Acres of Public Hunting Land for Whitetail Deer, Turkey, Exotics – St. Joseph, Michigan

This land is situated in St. Joseph County and is mostly covered with forest, wetland, timberland, and grassy upland. The total area of this hunting property is 2,125 acres. Species that are allowed to hunt on this land are Cottontail Rabbit, Eastern Wild Turkey, and White-tailed Deer. Hunters who visit this land are not allowed to bring any kind of alcoholic drinks and drugs to this land.  Camping is not allowed on this land and restroom facility is also not available on this land. Moreover, this land provides a designated parking area for the hunters. Lastly, this land is managed by periodical prescribed burning of extra brushes, by use of herbicides, mowing, fertilization, haying, and disking.
